Time Stamps

Also known as Document Control Stamps, are used for stamping documents with the date, date & time, sequential numbering, sequential numbering with date & time, and stamping text either alone or being combined with the above configurations. They also have the function of imprinting more then one line of characters and are not meant, with few exceptions, for using them for recording in and out punches for employee time cards.

Time Recorders

Also known as Side Printers can only print a line of characters at a time and are used generally for tracking employee time on time cards. To punch the employee has to line up the time card where it needs to print the time. Some of the products in this class can be used as time stamps.
